How our pest control works
We treat the whole property, not just the room where you saw the pest. The 4D Barrier programme puts treated barriers at the fence line, across the yard, around the home perimeter and inside — so pests are stopped before they get in. Most homes are on a quarterly schedule, with interior treatment only needed semi-annually or annually after the initial visit.
At First Inspection, we're the local experts at getting rid of ants, scorpions, spiders, rodents, roaches and any other pest that might disturb your family's comfort at home. We have highly trained professional technicians throughout the Phoenix area and use safe, effective methods to eliminate pest problems without endangering your family or pets.
We practise Integrated Pest Management — using both chemical and non-chemical methods. That means the technician who visits your home isn't just spraying a perimeter; they're identifying what's driving the problem, whether that's a leaking irrigation line, an unsealed weep screed, or the cricket population feeding your scorpions.
Every service comes with our 100% money-back guarantee, and our technicians are fully insured, bonded, and compliant with the State of Arizona and the EPA.
Eco-friendly protection
Every pest we treat
Once pests have made your house their home, they can be challenging to eliminate. Here's what we handle, and how.
Our system
Four barriers of defence
Our specially trained technicians use the latest IPM devices, products and techniques to establish protective barriers around your home.
- 1
The Fence Line
The first barrier against unwanted pests is the fence line. We spray the wall and landscape along the fence line, and dust inside the wall voids of the fence to get the bugs where they live.
- 2
The Yard
The second barrier is the entire area between the fence line and the home perimeter. We apply time-release granules to the lawn and/or landscape rock, and bait around shrubs and tree beds.
- 3
The Home Perimeter
Third is the actual home perimeter, where we spray the entire perimeter including the stem wall and landscape. We also spray and dust at all doors into the home including garage doors.
- 4
The Home Interior
The home interior is the last line of defence and, after our initial treatment, needs only be treated semi-annually or annually. When we treat your home interior we spray all entry points and nearly all of the interior perimeter, and we spray and dust the garage.

A typical pest control treatment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the size of the property and the severity of the infestation.
While our treatments are highly effective, there is always a possibility of pests returning. Regular maintenance and preventive measures can significantly reduce the likelihood of re-infestation.
