Rodent control in Arizona
Rodent control that lasts is exclusion plus trapping, not bait alone — seal the entry points, remove the harbourage, then trap out what is already inside. Roof rats in particular travel fence lines, irrigation lines and citrus trees into attics.
Imagine settling into your cosy Arizona home, only to hear the unsettling scurry of rodents in the walls. At First Inspection Termite & Pest, we understand the discomfort and disruption these unwelcome guests bring into your living space. As your trusted rodent exterminator experts, we’re dedicated to restoring peace and tranquility to your home.
When it comes to removing rodents, we prioritise humane and effective methods. Our skilled technicians use a combination of trapping, exclusion and environmental modifications to eliminate rodent infestations. Every home and situation is different, so we tailor our approach to your needs — from thorough inspections to ongoing monitoring, we’re with you at every step.

Prevention
Protect Against Rodents
Protecting your home against rodents is essential for maintaining a safe and healthy living environment. Rodents cause property damage and can spread disease. Seal gaps around pipe penetrations, weep screeds and roof vents — a mouse needs an opening the size of a dime. Trim citrus and palm fronds back from the roofline, keep pet food and birdseed in sealed containers, and clear woodpiles and dense ground cover away from the exterior walls. Where rodents are already active, trapping and exclusion together are what stop the problem returning.
Our system
Four barriers of defence
Our specially trained technicians establish protective barriers around your home to exterminate and repel pests.
- 1
The Fence Line
The first barrier against unwanted pests is the fence line. We spray the wall and landscape along the fence line, and dust inside the wall voids of the fence to get the bugs where they live.
- 2
The Yard
The second barrier is the entire area between the fence line and the home perimeter. We apply time-release granules to the lawn and/or landscape rock, and bait around shrubs and tree beds.
- 3
The Home Perimeter
Third is the actual home perimeter, where we spray the entire perimeter including the stem wall and landscape. We also spray and dust at all doors into the home including garage doors.
- 4
The Home Interior
The home interior is the last line of defence and, after our initial treatment, needs only be treated semi-annually or annually. When we treat your home interior we spray all entry points and nearly all of the interior perimeter, and we spray and dust the garage.

Yes, our treatments are designed to be safe for both children and pets. We use eco-friendly and non-toxic solutions wherever possible, and our technicians follow strict safety protocols.
Before our technician arrives, please ensure that all food is stored away, and access points to infested areas are clear. Specific preparation steps will be provided based on the type of pest being treated.
A typical pest control treatment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the size of the property and the severity of the infestation.
While our treatments are highly effective, there is always a possibility of pests returning. Regular maintenance and preventive measures can significantly reduce the likelihood of re-infestation.
